During my recent stay at Hotel Bergidyll - Riders Haven, I was captivated by the harmonious blend of comfort and scenic beauty that this lovely hotel offers in the heart of Andermatt. Our room, featuring a charming balcony with breathtaking mountain views, served as the perfect retreat after a day filled with hiking amidst the stunning Swiss landscapes. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, enhanced by the friendly hosts who made us feel right at home. Every morning, we indulged in a delightful buffet breakfast, which included a variety of fresh fruits that reminded me of my own tea estate's natural bounty back in Galle, Sri Lanka. The shared areas were tastefully decorated, adding a touch of elegance and making for a relaxing environment to unwind. The hotel's proximity to the town center and the myriad of outdoor activities, from skiing to hiking, truly sets it apart as a traveler's haven. For anyone seeking a getaway that echoes a sense of adventure yet allows for tranquil relaxation, I wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Bergidyll. I look forward to returning with my family for another wonderful experience amidst these picturesque mountains.
